Pick of the Week #20: Black Hat Brigade

I suspect everyone here is on board with how awesome the Black Hat Brigade is, so, the fact that Fathers is pretty excellent shouldn't really surprise anyone. What might surprise you is the range that the band shows in their new 8-song album/EP.

You might also be excited to learn that they've got a few shows coming up, in particular, Torontonians will want to check out their May 29 CD release at the El Mocambo as part of the Pitter Patter Music Festival ...

CONTEST: Dinosaur Bones Prize Pack

If you haven't yet familiarized yourself with Dinosaur Bones, then I think it's about time that you did so. They will be celebrating one year of existence at The Horseshoe Tavern on Saturday January 17th and I sincerely want you to be there. Also on the bill is The Junction, Black Hat Brigade and The Paint Movement. Therefore, I've got a pretty cool prize pack that I'm giving away on my blog involving concert passes, an EP, mega-cool pins and a limited edition poster. Interested? Intrigued? Hungry?
